Description
During an early morning drive on Clark Road in Woodbridge, CT, I saw a line of trees catching the first light of day as I drove up the hill. There was a striking contrast between the cool blues of snow and trees in the foreground, while sunlight danced along some taller branches and fully drenched a line of trees in the distance. I pulled over and took a photo which I later posted online for friends to see. My good friend and amazing artist Clay Fried challenged me to paint it. Hence, I painted this oil painting as well as one watercolor. Clay also painted a lovely version of Clark Road.
