Tunnel Vision, yet another view of my beloved Red Road viewed just near the entrance of the Kalani retreat center here in the Big Island. This particular view is a favorite because of the sunlight in the distance just past the tunnel, the sunlight pouring in from the side of the entrance, and the sunlight breathing life between the branches. The pattern of cool blues and warm reds mimics the rhythm of shadow and sunlight as one drives along the Red Road, weaving between sunlit vistas of ocean views and darkened tunnels cloaked by jungle trees and branches.
