Description
Pines #2, is one of three studies of a pine tree grove I painted in the same afternoon in my neighborhood in rural, Bethany, CT. Though the palette is similar, the focus of each of these paintings is different. Here the gaze of the viewer turns upward as one looks toward the top branches and the blue sky above.
