Description
I had just set up my studio in Connecticut after having moved back to my parents’ house. It was an adjustment moving to the east coast after living in California and I was lacking inspiration as I stared out the window at the bleak winter landscape. Then, as if heaven was listening, snow started falling. It fell lightly at first and I expected it to stop. But it kept snowing all day. It was the first snow of the winter and the snow fall became the subject of my first painting at home.
