Description
Before Dusk. I had just finished working outdoors on a pleinair landscape along the old Red Road. As I drove home the colors were beginning to glow as the golden hour began. So I stopped by my favorite spot along the cliffs by the ocean, brought out my watercolors and painted this small watercolor as I sat outside in the breeze. The trick to a successful watercolor is to not fuss too much and be patient. I like this small gem because I was able to do both, a rare accomplishment.
