Day 24
The Curve Beyond is another painting in my ongoing series of Red Road paintings. The challenge when painting a familiar scene or subject is to find something new each time that I paint it, whether it’s the application of paint or what I focus on from the subject. In this painting I was captivated by the curve in the road just beyond the opening of the tree tunnel. My eyes want to follow that road back in space and creates some wonderment about the curve in the road and where it leads next.
