Description
“Choppy Seas” Just a short two mile stretch from my home in Hawaii, I often drive down to a location along the Red Road we call 17 Mile Marker. It’s the place where remnants of the original, old Red Road still borders the coast and where the road nearly falls into the sea’s rough waters, The waves can be quite large and exciting as they roll against the lava rock cliffs. I often get sprayed by the seafoam when the waves hit the coast, just below where I am perched with my easel. The ocean is never the same. I looked deeply into the depths of waters to see the variety of deep and aquatic blues in the many layers of the turbulent waves.
