Description
It Comes in Waves is one of the abstracts from my series of watercolors based on textures. The subject evolved from the experimental marking making. Usually I choose my inspiration from what’s actually in front of me; I paint from observation.
At times I let the painting guide me and let the image evolve from the marks and colors I place on the paper or canvas. This landscape/seascape grew out of my playing with texture.
