Heatwave captures a concentrated surge of color and movement, built from overlapping fragments of green, gold, orange, and red. Painted on oriented strand board, the textured surface amplifies the sense of vibration and heat, as if the colors are pressing against one another under intense energy.
This small-scale abstraction feels immediate and charged—like a moment of temperature, light, or emotion compressed into a dense field. Heatwave reflects my ongoing interest in impermanence and sensation, where color and material carry the memory of place rather than a literal image.
