Description
When painting an abstract painting, I allow the paint material itself to be the main subject of the painting, while my feelings and emotions dictate where the paint goes. I had just come from a visit to one of my perches above the ocean, where the waves and energy of the sea had entranced me. Though I had no preconceived notion of painting the ocean, the essence of it came through clearly.
