Invitational Art Show at Wailoa Art Center, Hilo, Hawaii – Jan/Feb 2026
HIAA Invitational Show 2026 with three of my new osb paintings.
I was honored to be invited to participate in the Hawaiian Island Artist Association’s Invitational Show, hosted at the Wailoa Art Center in Hilo this past January and February. The caliber of artists selected for this show was remarkably high, which made being included feel like a real recognition — not something I take lightly.
I brought three of my newest OSB paintings — works from my ongoing series on oriented strand board, where the raw, splintered texture of reclaimed construction material becomes the starting point for exploring color, memory, and landscape. The show ran through February, and one of the three paintings sold during the run. A lovely start to 2025.

Koru, osb painting, 8″x12.5″ Sold at the opening event!
