I’m excited to sharethat my piece “Group Chat” — a mobile made from discarded cell phones, clay, and selfie sticks — received Honorable Mention at the 2025 Trash Art Show, which opened this October at the Wailoa Art Center in Hilo, Hawaiʻi.
I feel deeply honored to be recognized among such talented artists, all of whom transformed discarded materials into works of beauty and thought-provoking artistry. It was inspiring to see how creativity can turn trash into a powerful statement about our times and our environment.
